The Ravens placed undrafted wide receiver Cam Worthy on the physically unable to perform list Wednesday as rookies reported to training camp.
Worthy learned he had a stress fracture in his foot this spring after initially fracturing his foot in the Medal of Honor Bowl All-Star game.
Signed to a three-year, $1.577 million contract that includes a $2,500 signing bonus, Worthy was unable to work out for NFL teams this spring or at the NFL scouting combine.
The 6-foot-2, 211-pound receiver from East Carolina has run the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds in the past.
Worthy was selected to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. He caught 55 passes for 1,016 yards and four touchdowns last season.
In two seasons, Worthy had 74 catches for 1,311 yards and four touchdowns. In the Birmingham Bowl against Florida, Worthy caught eight passes for 130 yards and a touchdown.
In testing at the school, Worthy had a 43-inch vertical leap, a 10-9 broad jump, a 335-pound bench press, 465-pound squat and a 308-pound power clean.
He caught 19 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns as a junior. The South Carolina native was an all-conference junior college selection at Yuba Junior College.
Worthy has worked out with former New England Patriots wide receiver David Patten.
