Creating more roster room for rookes ahead of this week's minicamp, the Ravens relased guard Leon Brown and withdrew the exclusive rights tender offer to tight end Konrad Reuland.
The moves leave the team with 81 players on the roster, which means they have nine slots available to sign undrafted rookie free agents. Those deals will likely be finalized before Friday's start of the rookie minicamp.
Brown, who played his college football at Alabama and is a Riverdale native, was signed as an undrafted free agent last year. He was cut during training camp, but re-signed to the Ravens' practice squad late in the season.
Reuland played four games with the Ravens last season, starting one. The veteran of five NFL seasons didn't have a reception.
With Reuland gone, the Ravens still have six tight ends on the roster: Crockett Gillmore, Benjamin Watson, Dennis Pitta, Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle and converted wide receiver Darren Waller.
