Ravens list 19 players as questionable on early injury report

Required by the NFL to file an injury report Friday predicting the status of players for the Super Bowl, the Ravens have a lengthy list.

Nineteen players are listed as questionable on the Ravens' initial injury report, which will be updated next week heading into the game against the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans.

Starting inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe said he could definitely play if the game was this Sunday, but he is grateful for the rest he has gotten by being held out of practice for the past two days. He's dealing with a sprained right ankle and back injury.

"Any time off is good for you when you're hurting," Ellerbe said. "I'm going to need a couple more days. I'm glad we got two weeks and we're not playing this Sunday. If I had to, I could fight through it this Sunday. It's the Super Bowl."

On a scale of 1 to 10 when asked how much he's banged-up, Ellerbe replied: "I'm probably a 10. I ain't going to show it."

Tight end Dennis Pitta (thigh) was the only other Ravens player to not practice Friday.

Meanwhile, the Ravens listed the following other players as questionable: wide receiver Anquan Boldin (bruised left shoulder), nose tackle Terrence Cody (foot), wide receiver Tandon Doss (high ankle sprain), safety James Ihedigbo (knee), cornerback Asa Jackson (hamstring), fullback Vonta Leach (right knee, ankle), inside linebacker Ray Lewis (right triceps), outside linebacker Albert McClellan (shoulder), defensive end Pernell McPhee (thigh), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (sprained right knee), strong safety Bernard Pollard (ribs), wide receiver David Reed (hamstring), free safety Ed Reed (torn shoulder labrum), cornerback Jimmy Smith (sports hernia surgery), outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (right Achilles, right torn biceps) and offensive guard Marshal Yanda (right shoulder).
