Ravens reserve offensive lineman Jah Reid has been assigned a June 4 court date in his pending misdemeanor battery case in Key West, Fla., according to a Monroe County courthouse clerk.
Reid previously pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of battery and had a pretrial conference this week. He's being represented by Key West attorney Samuel Kaufman and is on the docket of Judge Peary Fowler.
The case stems from an altercation at a strip club in Key West called the Red Garter Saloon.
The 6-foot-7, 340-pound Reid allegedly head-butted, punched and kicked a man after an argument. The dispute was captured on video surveillance, according to Key West police.
Reid is free on bail and is participating in the Ravens' voluntary offseason conditioning program.
Reid was the third Ravens player to be arrested this offseason, after running back Ray Rice (third-degree aggravated assault) and wide receiver Deonte Thompson (possession of marijuana). Thompson was acquitted of the charges when a fellow defendant accepted responsibility for the drugs.
Rice has entered a not guilty plea and has applied for a pretrial intervention program in Atlantic County Superior Court.
