Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been particularly clutch in the playoffs. Heading into an AFC divisional-round playoff game Saturday against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, the third-year pro has never missed a field goal in the postseason.
Tucker has connected on all seven field goals he's attempted in five career playoff games.
That includes his game-winning kick against the Denver Broncos during the 2013 postseason and a 52-yard field goal last Saturday during a 30-17 AFC wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"He enjoys that moment," Ravens special teams coordinator Jerry Rosburg said of Tucker, who's made 97 of 108 career field goals for an 89.8 percent success rate. "He really does. He likes being out there on the stage."
The 52-yard field goal against the Steelers, one of three field goals he kicked last week, is his longest field goal Tucker has made in the playoffs.
"After the game, I thought about it more than I did during the game," Rosburg said of the 52-yarder. "After the game, it seemed, 'That was a really great kick.' During the game, he had such a great warmup and he was so confident during the course of the game, I never thought twice about it.
"When asked about it, it was, 'Yeah, lets go!' It was one of those easy calls because I felt really confident he was going to make it, and he went out there and he felt confident and then he nailed it."
