Ravens inside linebacker Ray Lewis headlines the list of inactives for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Lewis, who has a toe injury, has now missed three consecutive games for the first time since 2005.

Lewis did not practice this week and Ravens coach John Harbaugh told reporters on Friday that there was a chance Lewis could play on Sunday, though the team is conscious of the long-term risk of rushing Lewis back.

The inactive list does have one silver lining, though. Dannell Ellerbe, the primary backup to Lewis, will return to the field after missing the Thanksgiving night win over the San Francisco 49ers with a groin injury. Ellerbe will start alongside Jameel McClain with Brendon Ayanbadejo and Albert McClellan backing those two up.

The Ravens’ full list of inactive players include Lewis, cornerback Chris Carr, wide receiver LaQuan Williams, linebacker Sergio Kindle, wide receiver Tandon Doss, cornerback Chykie Brown and running back Anthony Allen.

Quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, safety T.J. Ward, offensive guard Steve Vallos, offensive tackle Oniel Cousins, tight end Jordan Cameron, linebacker Quinton Spears and defensive end Auston English are inactive for the Browns.
