Unless you are the New England Patriots, who are deservedly basking in the glory of their Super Bowl XLIX victory last night over the Seattle Seahawks, it's never too early to look ahead to the 2015 season.
Bovada has already published the odds for next year's champion, and the Ravens are currently being given 33-1 odds to win Super Bowl 50, which will be played Feb. 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The Ravens are coming off a 10-6 season and their sixth playoff berth in the past seven years. They beat their archrival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-7, in the AFC wild-card round before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Patriots, 35-31, at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 10.
Bovada lists the Seahawks as the favorite to win next year's Super Bowl, giving them 5-1 odds. The Patriots are second at 7-1, while the Green Bay Packers round out the top three with 8-1 odds.
Ten teams have better odds to win the Super Bowl than the Ravens. That list includes the Denver Broncos (10-1), Dallas Cowboys (14-1), Indianapolis Colts (14-1), Philadelphia Eagles (20-1), San Francisco 49ers (20-1), New Orleans Saints (22-1) and the Steelers (25-1).
Like the Ravens, the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions also face 33-1 odds to win Super Bowl 50.
The Ravens' other two AFC North foes -- the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns -- are getting 40-1 and 66-1 odds, respectively.
