Current quarterbacks under contract: Joe Flacco, Tyrod Taylor
Chances that the Ravens draft a QB in first three rounds: None. Even the harshest Flacco critic over the years has to grudgingly admit now that the Ravens are set at the quarterback position. A little over two months ago, Flacco completed one of the best postseasons ever by a quarterback, leading the Ravens to a victory in Super Bowl XLVII. Not long after the season ended, Flacco signed a six-year, $120.6 million contract, securing his future in Baltimore and making him the game's highest paid player. Taylor will enter his third season as Flacco's backup.
Possibly on Ravens' radar: Colby Cameron (Louisiana Tech), Grant Enders (Towson), Sean Renfree (Duke), Jordan Rodgers (Vanderbilt), James Vandenberg (Iowa)
Outlook: At some point, the Ravens will draft another quarterback to groom under Flacco, but that's still a couple of years away. After all, Flacco is 28 years old, signed through the 2018 season and hasn't missed a start in his five-year NFL career. Taylor, 23, has played sparingly the past two seasons and is still a relative unknown as an NFL quarterback. However, team officials have been confident enough in the uber athletic Taylor that they've carried only two quarterbacks on the roster the past two seasons. That figures to be the direction they go in again in 2013. However, they'll likely bring in a couple of undrafted rookie free agents to share the offseason and preseason reps and compete for a spot on the practice squad. The Ravens also will probably add a veteran quarterback, like they did last year with Curtis Painter, to come into training camp and give Taylor some competition for the backup job.
