Ravens make no deals as trade deadline passes

Today's 4 p.m. trade deadline came and went without the Ravens making a deal.

With the Ravens sitting with a 3-4 record and reeling from three losses in their past four games, there was plenty of speculation surrounding the team about whether they would make a trade to boost a struggling offense.

However, nothing significant developed for the Ravens who will go with what they have heading into Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

It was a quiet trade deadline all around the NFL as just one deal was made. The Philadelphia Eagles sent defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga and a sixth-round draft pick to the New England Patriots for a fifth-round pick.

The Ravens have never made a deal the day of the trade deadline in franchise history. In fact, before this year, they had never made an in-season trade. However, that changed on Oct. 1 when the Ravens acquired left tackle Eugene Monroe from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fourth and fifth-round pick.

Then on Oct.21, the Ravens sent Bryant McKinnie, who Monroe replaced in the starting lineup, to the Dolphins for a conditional late-round draft pick.
