Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith still sidelined

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith was not practicing in the portion of Friday's practice open to the media. Smith wasn't on the field early in last Friday's practice, but was ultimately listed as a limited participant.

Still, he missed last Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys because of a back injury. Barring a change, it appears he'll miss Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals as well.

Running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (thigh), tight end Crockett Gillmore (thigh), offensive guard Alex Lewis (ankle) and cornerback Asa Jackson (undisclosed) also weren't on the field for the Ravens' walk-through practice.

RAVENS PASSING GAME: There have been small signs of improvement with the Ravens’ pass offense, but the team is still struggling to make big plays and sustain

Gillmore, who has missed three consecutive games, had practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday. It's unclear if he had a setback or the team just doesn't feel he'll be ready in time to face the Bengals.

Taliaferro and Lewis are both expected to miss Sunday's game.
