Ravens confirm Lewis, Carr did not practice Thursday

The Thursday injury report is out, and the Ravens confirmed that inside linebacker Ray Lewis and cornerback Chris Carr missed practice.

Lewis, a 12-time Pro Bowler, has now missed two consecutive practices. He is dealing with a toe injury on his right foot that has forced him to miss the team's past two games. If Lewis does not practice Friday, his chances of returning for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns would appear slim.

Carr, who was limited Wednesday by a recurring back ailment, did not play in the win against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.

Three players who fully practiced Wednesday – inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring, groin), defensive tackle Arthur Jones (post-concussion symptoms) and rookie running back Anthony Allen (thigh) – participated fully again Thursday.

For the Browns, starting strong safety T.J. Ward sat out practice for the second straight day. Ward is listed as dealing with foot and finger injuries.

Free safety Mike Adams returned to practice Thursday on a limited basis after not participating Wednesday. He has been hampered by an injured shoulder.

Right tackle Tony Pashos was limited for the second consecutive day by an ankle injury.

Three starters in quarterback Colt McCoy (right elbow), running back Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and fullback Owen Marecic (head) fully participated for the second straight day.
