Ravens' Gino Gradkowski to appeal $7,800 fine for unnecessary roughness, source says

Ravens starting center Gino Gradkowski has been fined $7,800 by the NFL league office for unnecessary roughness, according to a league source.

Gradkowski was penalized in the third quarter of the Ravens' 49-27 loss Thursday night to the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field.

Gradkowski, who made his first regular-season start since replacing six-time Pro Bowl center Matt Birk, plans to appeal the fine, according to the source.
