The Ravens primary colors may be purple and black, but games at M&T Bank Stadium looked a little greener this season.
That is, until Sunay.
The Ravens -- who switched from synthetic turf to real grass in the offseason -- played on a nearly-all-green swath for the first half of the 2016 season. But Sunday, the team will be aiming for the big black bars on either end of the field.
The end zones at M&T Bank Stadium went from a natural green to a solid black with the team's name and city in white font.
The team tweeted a photo of the new end zones Sunday morning.
The Ravens will wear black jerseys for Sunday's 1 p.m. game with the Bengals, as well.
The stadium played host to the annual Turkey Bowl between Calvert Hall and Loyola on Thursday.
While the rest of us were digesting our meals, the Ravens were preparing for the Bengals, and the Cardinals were reveling in their Thanksgiving Day victory, the stadium grounds crew was busy re-painting the playing surface.
The early returns on Twitter: the fans liked the new end zones. But they'll like them more if the Ravens find a way to visit them a few times on Sunday.
