The Ravens have agreed to a four-year contract with fourth-round running back Lorenzo Taliaferro, the team confirmed.
Taliaferro is slotted for a $2.52 million contract that includes $300,584 signing bonus.
The Ravens have now agreed to terms with five of their nine draft picks. Still unsigned: first-round linebacker C.J. Mosley (Alabama), second-round defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (Florida State), third-round safety Terrence Brooks (Florida State) and fourth-round defensive end Brent Urban (Virginia).
Taliaferro is 6-feet, 230 pounds and caught the attention of the Ravens during the Senior Bowl with his ability to catch the ball and pass block.
At Coastal Carolina, he was named the Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Year last season as he rushed for 1,729 yards and 29 touchdowns.
The Ravens ranked 30th in the NFL in rushing last season.
Taliaferro ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times and had a 33-inch vertical leap and was fifth among running backs in the three-cone drill with a time of 6.88 seconds.
He improved to a 34-inch vertical jump and 22 reps at his Pro Day.
"I think my speed is very underrated," Taliaferro said after the draft. "A lot of people don't understand that we ran power, power plays and a lot of mid-zones in our school. I was able to bust a bunch up the middle this year where I outran defenders. I think my speed was highly rated."
