Rookie running back Kenneth Dixon returned to practice for the Ravens today in Owings Mills after missing all but the first training camp workout with a knee injury.

Fourth-year cornerback Will Davis also made it back on the practice field after missing time.

Wide receiver and return specialist Michael Campanaro (River Hill) did not practice for the second time since camp opened.  The first absence last week did not appear to be injury-related. Campanaro has missed the majority of his first two NFL seasons with injuries.

Safety Lardarius Webb was also not on the field for practice Thursday.

Three other players who have been injured in training camp did not return.

Tight end Dennis Pitta, whose comeback from a career-threatening hip injury had been impressive in the first few days of camp, is out with a sprained finger sustained during a scuffle with rookie linebacker Kamalei Correa during Monday's open workout at M&T Bank Stadium.

Tight end Crockett Gilmore (hamstring), defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (ribs) and rookie cornerback Maurice Canady also did not practice.

The Ravens still have five players on the physically unable to perform list: outside linebackers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil, wide receivers Steve Smith Sr. and Breshad Perriman, as well as running back Lorenzo Taliaferro.
