Predictions for Sunday's Ravens-Cowboys game

The entire staff correctly picked the Ravens to beat the winless Browns last week, which is about as safe a bet as there is in the league these days.

A game in Dallas this week is the opposite end of the spectrum, as the Ravens are 7-point underdogs against the NFL's top team.

Mark Selig (7-2 picking Ravens games)

Cowboys 27, Ravens 20
If there's a week the Cowboys cool down, it could be this one, with Tony Romo back in uniform, creating a bit of a different pressure on rookie Dak Prescott. Ezekiel Elliott likely won't be able to run wild on the NFL's best run defense, either. But against the Ravens' shaky offense, the Cowboys won't need to hit the 28-point plateau, as they have in each of their past five games.

Edward Lee (6-3)

Cowboys 30, Ravens 17
The Ravens have not faced a top-10 offense since back-to-back games against the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins, and both games ended in losses. The Cowboys just have too much firepower to be bottled up for an entire game, and the Ravens offense doesn't have enough ammo to keep pace.

Childs Walker (6-3)

Cowboys 24, Ravens 20
This is the most talented offense the Ravens will face all season, and they’ll be hard-pressed to keep up, with Joe Flacco again playing behind an injury-depleted offensive line. They won’t let Cowboys super-rookie Ezekiel Elliott run wild, but they’ll fall one score short in the fourth quarter.

Jeff Zrebiec (5-4)

Cowboys 27, Ravens 17
Facing a red-hot offense and the NFC's current top seed on the road, this is the type of assignment that the Ravens love. They'll play well, and they should be in this game in the fourth quarter, but that is where the Cowboys' league-best offensive line will take the game over.

Jen Badie (4-5)

Cowboys 33, Ravens 20
The Cowboys have handled the other AFC North teams (3-0, outscoring them by a combined 98-54). The Ravens' top-ranked defense could keep things interesting, but they're up against arguably the best offensive line in the game and Ezekiel Elliott, who is rushing for an average 111.7 yards a game.

Cowboys 28, Ravens 21
Dallas has been strong in two ways that the Ravens have struggled this season. The Cowboys have a good offensive line and the Cowboys have been consistent in all areas. Despte being in a physical game against the Steelers last week, the Cowboys will play well enough to beat the Ravens at home.

Peter Schmuck (4-5)

Cowboys 23, Ravens 20
Don't believe the Cowboy hype. This is no mismatch, but the Cowboys are the better all-around team and they're at home, so it's difficult to pick against them. But the Ravens, coming off a mini bye week, certainly have a puncher's chance if the O-line holds up.
