Huff was signed to a three-year, $6 million contract, including a $1.5 million signing bonus in March. He was benched after he struggled mightily in the Ravens' season-opening 49-27 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Spears was signed to a two-year, $2.75 million contract in March that included a $600,000 signing bonus.

The Ravens are now $1.797 million under the NFL salary cap limit of $123 million following the roster moves, which included promoting safeties Omar Brown and Brynden Trawick from the practice squad to the active roster.
