University of Miami wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, one of the fastest players in the NFL draft, visited the Ravens on Wednesday, according to sources.

The Ravens are expected to try to bolster the wide receiver position through the draft and could use an influx of speed outside after Torrey Smith signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the San Francisco 49ers this offseason.

At the Hurricanes' Pro Day workout, Dorsett ran the 40-yard dash in 4.29 and 4.27 seconds. He had a 38-inch vertical leap, a 10-9 broad jump, a 4.03 short shuttle and a 6.85 three-cone drill.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds at the NFL scouting combine. He also had a 37-inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 13 times.

Dorsett's speed is obvious in this highlight video.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder was a second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.
