Mel Kiper Jr. is a proud Calvert Hall graduate.

When Adrian Amos was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round, Kiper couldn't stop talking about Amos, saying he had seen Amos as an 8th-grader at Calvert Hall.

Kiper even mentioned the last Calvert Hall player to be drafted, Vince Kinney ('74), who was selected in the 10th round in 1978 by the Denver Broncos after playing wide receiver at Maryland.

ESPN played along with Kiper, putting up a yearbook photo of the 1978 graduate of Calvert Hall. The two other ESPN analysts, Todd McShay and Bill Polian, made sure to give shout-outs to their high school alma maters after Kiper went on and on about Calvert Hall.
