Running back Lorenzo Taliaferro returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's workout because of a foot injury.

Wide receivers Steve Smith Sr. (back) and Breshad Perriman (knee), tight end Crockett Gillmore (calf) and defensive end Chris Canty (calf) remained sidelined and all four appear unlikely to play Saturday against the Cleveland Browns.

Linebackers Daryl Smith and Albert McClellan also weren't practicing. Smith has traditionally gotten Thursday practices off because of his veteran status. It isn't clear why McClellan isn't practicing.

Taliaferro's status is worth watching, given that the Browns have the second-worst run defense statistically in the NFL.
