In first game this season, Ravens' Lardarius Webb didn't look ready

CLEVELAND — It wasn't the kind of sterling return that Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb had envisioned in his first game of the season.

Returning from a lower back injury that sidelined him for the first two games and the entire preseason, Webb allowed receptions in limited action and had trouble matching receivers' speed in the open field during a 23-21 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Webb eventually was pulled from the game by coach John Harbaugh. He finished with one tackle.

"It's just not what he wanted to see, so he just pulled me," said Webb, who had offseason sports hernia surgery. "It wasn't that I wasn't healthy. I just got to get on the field and knock off the rust whenever I get out there."
