Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb, defensive end Chris Canty, and wide receiver Darren Waller returned to practice Wednesday after spells sidelined with injury, but the team still had eight absences as preparations began for Monday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Webb suffered a thigh injury against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5, while Waller suffered a concussion in that same game. Both missed Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, while Canty missed four games with a calf strain suffered in Week 2 at Oakland.
Canty's replacement, defensive end Lawrence Guy, was among the eight players missing, several of them surprises. New absences include tight end Maxx Williams, cornerback Asa Jackson,
Others are dealing with lingering injuries, including running back Justin Forsett. Forsett, who is dealing with an ankle injury, played through pain and had 101 total yards against the 49ers. Guard Marshal Yanda, who sat out two practices last week with an ankle injury but also played Sunday, did not practice Wednesday, either.
Safety Kendrick Lewis, who suffered a bone bruise in his knee Sunday, did not practice, nor did reserve safety Terrence Brooks, who has been out with a thumb injury since the Browns game.
Wide receiver Breshad Perriman (sprained PCL) remained out.
