Kansas free safety Cassius Sendish has been invited to the Ravens' local prospect day, according to sources.
The Ravens' workout is set for April 21 at their training complex.
He's graded as a later-round draft pick.
Sendish is a Waldorf native who went to North Point High School.
Sendish is a 6-foot, 195-pound All-Big 12 Conference honorable mention selection. The team captain recorded 69 tackles last season and had one interception, returning a fumble 63 yards for a touchdown against Oklahoma.
Sendish played in the Medal of Honor Bowl all-star game.
Sendish started every game of his career in two seasons at Kansas. As a junior, he had 69 tackles and a sack.
A non-academic qualifier out of high school, Sendish attended Arizona Western Junior College and College of Canyons before signing with Kansas. He chose the Jayhawks over Iowa State, Kansas State, Indiana and Illinois.
Sendish won the Nolan Cromwell award for leadership last season. He was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's honor roll and athletic director's honor roll. He's graduated from Kansas and is now working toward his master's degree.
Sendish had 32 tackles and an interception as a high school senior, catching nine passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns.
