Justin Tucker takes slight lead in kicking battle

After going perfect in the first two days of training camp, kickers Billy Cundiff and Justin Tucker found a little separation on Saturday at the Ravens' practice facility in Owings Mills.

Cundiff missed a 48-yard field-goal attempt towards the end of the session, pushing the kick wide left of the goalposts. It was the only blemish for Cundiff, who had connected on attempts of 20, 32, 41, 51 and 54 yards earlier in the day.

Tucker, an undrafted rookie, went 7-of-7, converting attempts of 20, 30, 40, 41, 45, 51 and 54 yards.

After three days, Tucker is a perfect 20-of-20, while Cundiff has gone 18-of-19. Both kickers were praised by special teams coordinator Jerry Rosburg.

"The kickers have performed well," Rosburg said. "It's early, they're getting a lot of work done. Our offensive line fits and all that. The field goal has looked a lot better than it has the last couple days. So I think we're making progress."
