Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's full-pads practice with a knee/ankle issue, while outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (thigh) and defensive end Chris Canty (knee) were both absent for a second straight day.

Smith was hobbled during the Ravens 23-21 win over Cleveland, and was given Wednesday off to rest, but did individual drills and moving well on Thursday.

Suggs, who missed the end of the Browns game with a groin injury he said was not serious, and Canty, who was limited throughout the second half of the game, both have not practiced this week.

Running back Bernard Pierce was a full participant Wednesday after missing Sunday's game with a thigh issue, and again looked to be moving without issue on Thursday. Cornerback Lardarius Webb was also present after being limited to four snaps on Sunday in his return from a back injury.

Tight end Owen Daniels did not practice, and wide receiver Steve Smith was present, but did not have his helmet and appeared to be having a light workout.

Left tackle Eugene Monroe, who had a knee procedure Wednesday, and rookie defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan, who could miss several weeks with a meniscus injury, were also not present.
