Ravens QB Jimmy Clausen inactive for second straight week

Ravens quarterback Jimmy Clausen warm up before Sunday's game against the Seahawks at M&T Bank Stadium.

CINCINNATI — With Ryan Mallett set to start his second straight game today against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Ravens made Jimmy Clausen inactive for a second straight week. Matt Schaub will again back up Mallett.

The Ravens also left four defensive backs inactive: Tray Walker, Jumal Rolle, Jermaine Whitehead and Sheldon Price. The scratch means that Walker, a 2015 fourth-round NFL draft pick, was inactive for eight of 16 games in his rookie season.

The Ravens' other two inactives were linebackers Albert McClellan and defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore. McClellan tested his ankle in pregame, but will miss his third consecutive game to close the season. Lewis-Moore was inactive for 11 games this year, including the final 10.

For the Bengals, quarterback Andy Dalton, fullback-tight end Ryan Hewitt, wide receiver Mario Alford, offensive lineman Eric Winston and defensive lineman Marcus Hardison, Pat Sims, and Will Clarke are all inactive.
