After playing his best game of the young season in a 19-17 Ravens win Sunday, wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. approached Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey and appeared to have aggressive words for the rookie.

Asked about the interaction, Ramsey played up the drama.

"Come up to me with some disrespectful stuff. The game over with," Ramsey told reporters, replaying his conversation with Smith. "You still mad because I was locking you up? Alright. Go sleep on that. I ain't trying to hear that after the game."

Smith tallied eight catches for 87 yards. Ramsey, 21, occasionally covered the 37-year-old, and was proud of his work on Smith.

"Any time I lined up on him. Hmm. You're done," Ramsey said. "Y'all go watch that. Y'all go watch that. Y'all tell me who got in who head."

A storyline during the week was whether Smith, known for his trash talking, would get under Ramsey's skin.

"Everybody knows he's a trash-talker," Ramsey said last week. "He's gotten into DB's heads in the past. But you can't get in my head. I'm going to play football."
