Ravens' Jacoby Jones active, Bryant McKinnie scratched against Packers

The Ravens scratched veteran offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie after replacing him this week with Eugene Monroe at left tackle.

McKinnie complained of a sore left knee, which he said was drained this week. He isn't listed on the official injury report.

McKinnie hasn't ruled out the possibility of being traded. The Ravens have explored the possibility of trading McKinnie and a few teams remain interested, according to league sources.

The Ravens also could keep McKinnie as a backup in case anything happens to starting tackles Monroe and Michael Oher. McKinnie has already been paid a $2 million signing bonus as part of a two-year, $6.3 million contract and his $1 million base salary is guaranteed for the remainder of the season as a vested veteran.

Meanwhile, Pro Bowl kick returner Jacoby Jones is active for the first time since a 49-27 loss to the Denver Broncos in the season opener. Jones missed four games with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee, suffered when rookie safety Brynden Trawick accidentally crashed into him while he was making a fair catch.

Backup nose tackle Terrence Cody (sprained left knee) remains out since getting hurt against the Houston Texans. Center-guard Jah Reid, center Ryan Jensen, who just returned to practice this week on a limited basis from foot surgery he underwent at the start of training camp, wide receiver Brandon Stokley (hip, groin), linebacker John Simon and defensive end Marcus Spears (knee) are also inactive.

Stokley practiced on a limited basis all week and was questionable after being re-signed this week. Simon is one of the Ravens' leading special teams tacklers, raising eyebrows considering that he's healthy and was penalized for a late hit against the Miami Dolphins. He wasn't fined.

For the Green Bay Packers, the inactives are cornerbacks Jarrett Bush and Casey Hayward, running back James Starks (knee), linebackers Clay Matthews (thumb surgery) and Brad Jones (hamstring), center-guard Greg Van Roten and defensive end Josh Boyd.

Nick Perry starts in place of Matthews at right outside linebacker, with Mike Neal replacing Perry at left outside linebacker. And Jamari Lattimore will start in place of Jones at middle linebacker.
