Ravens injury update: Dickson strains hamstring, Ihedigbo has minor neck injury

Ravens starting tight end Ed Dickson sustained a strained hamstring and was unable to finish the practice Sunday at the Naval Academy.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh downplayed the severity of the injury.

"Ed Dickson, his hamstring grabbed a little bit, so we pulled him out for precautionary reasons," Harbaugh said. "We'll take a look at it [Sunday] and see how it looks."

Meanwhile, starting strong safety James Ihedigbo didn't practice at all due to a strained neck with wide receiver David Reed sidelined with a tweaked groin.

"We're just giving James a rest on the neck," Harbaugh said. "He kind of tweaked it a little bit, a little strain in there. In those special-teams drills, he goes pretty hard there. I wanted to back him off a little bit. Nothing serious with David. I think he had a little bit of a groin, just resting him."
