Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe remains sidelined with an ankle injury that's expected to prevent him from playing in Saturday night's AFC wild-card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Monroe remains in awalking boot, according to a source, so undrafted rookie James Hurst will start his second consecutive game at left tackle.

Hurst held up much better against the Cleveland Browns after struggling against the Houston Texans in spot action during Week 16 when both starting tackles Monroe and Rick Wagner were injured.

Wagner is on injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury that required surgery.

Meanwhile, rookie defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan's status is also in heavy doubt for the game against the Steelers. Jernigan hasn't been officially ruled out, but he has a foot and ankle injury that has kept him from practicing all week.
