Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe remains sidelined

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - — Ravens starting left tackle Eugene Monroe, who was doubtful to play with a shoulder injury, is inactive for today's game against the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium. It is the second consecutive game that Monroe will miss and the sixth this season.

Of the six games that he's started this year, Monroe has been forced out of three with injuries. That means that dating back to last year and including the 2014 playoffs and today, Monroe will have started and finished just three of the Ravens' last 16 games.

James Hurst will make his sixth start this year at left tackle. Right tackle Rick Wagner, who missed practice Friday for non-injury reasons, and starting left guard Kelechi Osemele, who missed the past two games with a knee injury and was probable for today, will start for the Ravens.

Also inactive for the Ravens were wide receiver Marlon Brown (back), tight end Maxx Williams (concussion), offensive guard Kaleb Johnson, defensive linemen Kapron Lewis-Moore and Carl Davis and cornerback Tray Walker.

It marks the second consecutive game in which Davis, who started three games earlier this season, will be inactive. With Williams out, the Ravens will go with just two tight ends: Crockett Gillmore and Nick Boyle.

Cornerback Cassius Vaughn is active for the first time this season and will make his Ravens regular-season debut.

The Dolphins inactives are wide receiver Rishard Matthews, offensive linemen JaWuan James, Jacques McClendon and Ulrick John, linebacker Chris McCain, defensive lineman Earl Mitchell and cornerback Jamar Taylor.

After being questionable on the injury report, wide receiver Kenny Stills (ankle) and center Mike Pouncey (foot) will both play.
