Elvis Dumervil active for tonight's Ravens-Lions game

DETROIT — Ravens strong-side linebacker Elvis Dumervil is active for tonight's game against the Detroit Lions.

The Ravens' leading pass rusher with 9.5 sacks, Dumervil was sidelined for one game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a sprained left ankle suffered against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thanksgiving.

Dumervil hadn't missed a game this season until the Ravens' 29-26 win over the Vikings, ending a streak of 144 consecutive games for the linebacker.

With Dumervil active, the Ravens scratched rookie outside linebacker John Simon, who was active against Minnesota.

The Ravens also deactivated wide receiver Deonte Thompson, center Ryan Jensen, running back Bernard Scott, safeties Brynden Trawick and Omar Brown and defensive tackle Brandon Williams.

The Ravens have just four wide receivers active: Torrey Smith (Maryland), Jacoby Jones, Marlon Brown and Tandon Doss.

This marks the third game in a row that Trawick has been out since spraining his ankle.

The Lions scratched cornerbacks Chris Houston (toe) and Darius Slay (knee surgery), quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Mikel Leshoure, offensive guards Rodney Austin and Leroy Harris and offensive tackle Jason Fox.

Ravens tight end Dallas Clark is active tonight, one week after being a healthy scratch. For the Lions, running back Reggie Bush (calf) and defensive end Ezekial Ansah (shoulder) are both active.
