Another key piece for the Ravens is missing from Wednesday's practice in Owings Mills, and the old issues haven't resolved themselves yet, bringing the total number of absences to 13.

Tight end Dennis Pitta, who sprained his finger in a scuffle during Monday's open practice at M&T Bank Stadium, is out as expected. Punter Michael Palardy is also not practicing and could be a part of a roster move. Defensive linemen Brandon Williams and Carl Davis were late arrivals but are practicing.

Six practices into training camp, the Ravens still haven't had a player return from missing a day with an injury. Rookies Chris Moore (undisclosed), Maurice Canady (undisclosed) and Kenneth Dixon (knee) remain out. Tight end Crockett Gillmore (hamstring) is missing his fourth straight day, defensive lineman Timmy Jernigan (ribs) his third.

Running back Trent Richardson is also not present after the Ravens cut him Tuesday. Wide receiver Chuck Jacobs, whom the team signed in Richardson's place, is practicing.
