Jah Reid has been practicing at left guard with the first-team offense all week and is slated to start again. "Oh yeah, I'm looking to improve every week," Reid said. "I take what happened to me the first game and what happened to me and improve on it. I made some mistakes and I want to play a lot better this week."
The Chargers may play without starting left guard Tyronne Green, who has not practiced all week because of a hamstring injury and is listed as doubtful. Rex Hadnot is Green's backup.
Defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin, another former Ravens player currently with the Chargers, was limited by a knee injury for the second consecutive day and is questionable for Sunday.
A pair of Chargers starters -- right guard Louis Vasquez (ankle) and strong safety Atari Bigby (shoulder) -- fully practiced Friday and are listed as probable. Punter Mike Scifres (right ankle) fully participated for the third straight day and is also probable.
Punt returner Eddie Royal (hamstring) is out. Starting free safety Eric Weddle is listed as Royal's backup, but the Chargers could turn to former Ravens cornerback Chris Carr, who is already the team's primary kick returner.
