The Cleveland Browns have signed former Ravens defensive tackle Jamie Meder to the practice squad.
Meder was released from the Ravens' practice squad this week after spending the first 10 weeks of the season with them. He was cut at the end of the preseason during the final major roster cutdown.
The 6-foot-2, 306-pound tackle went undrafted out of Ashland (Ohio), where he was named a Division II All-American and was a four-time all-conference selection.
Meder was twice named his conference Defensive Lineman of the Year. Meder had 88 tackles last season, 7.5 for losses, with three sacks and one forced fumble.
Meder played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, drawing praise from former Indianapolis Colts general manager Bill Polian. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.22 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 33 times.
