The Cleveland Browns were awarded tight end Ryan Taylor off waivers Monday from the Ravens.
Taylor was cut Saturday by the Ravens, who promoted tight end Phillip Supernaw from the practice squad to the active roster.
In four seasons with the Green Bay Packers before being claimed by the Ravens off waivers earlier this season, Taylor caught eight career passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Taylor, 6 feet 3, 254 pounds, played in 50 games for the Packers after being drafted in the seventh round in 2011 out of North Carolina. He's primarily regarded as a blocking tight end.
