The Denver Broncos have signed seventh-round safety Josh Furman to a four-year, $2.332 million deal.
The contract includes a $52,784 signing bonus for the former Old Mill standout, according to a source.
Furman was selected 252nd overall out of Oklahoma State.
Furman attended the Ravens' local prospect day prior to the NFL draft.
Furman played outside linebacker at Oklahoma State, but projects to play safety in the NFL.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Furman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds at his campus pro day. He also had a 38-inch vertical leap and a 10-4 broad jump.
Furman had 64 tackles, 14 for loss, seven sacks one interception and one forced fumble last season.
The fifth-year Michigan transfer played in 32 games for the Wolverines and started three times at safety. He had a blocked punt as a freshman.
As a junior, he had 87 tackles, 25 for loss, eight sacks, six forced fumbles and two blocked punts.
Furman was a four-star recruit, a SuperPrep All-American and The Baltimore Sun Co-Offensive Player of the Year as a senior.
