When asked if he's going to start after rookie Courtney Upshaw started in his place against the Eagles, Kruger said, "I'm not sure. You would have to ask the coaches about that. It looks like I'll be playing a good amount. We'll see what happens."
Offensive tackle Jah Reid returned to practice after being sidelined since August when he reaggravated a strained right calf.
For Reid, it's been a long road to recovery after initially hurting his calf and being carted off the field during a June minicamp.
"It's still a work in progress," Reid said. "Calves take a long time to heal. I had to learn my lesson a couple of times to stop re-injuring it. I had to take it easy.
"It's way further along than when I came out and tried to practice before. They're not trying to rush me. They want to make sure it was good before they put me back out on the field."
