Ravens' Jacoby Jones will be on 'Dancing With The Stars'

Jacoby Jones danced in several NFL end zones this season as he went from unheralded free agent pickup to one of the heroes of the Ravens' Super Bowl XLVII victory over the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month.

He'll now take his dance moves to another stage, and this time, they'll be judged.

The wide receiver and Pro Bowl return man was unveiled by ABC tonight as one of the contestants on 'Dancing With the Stars.' The rest of the cast will be announced Tuesday on Good Morning America. Season 16 of the show will debut on March 18 on ABC.

The announcement was made during a commercial break of tonight's Academy Awards on ABC.

"Jacoby Jones just won a Super Bowl ring," the commercial said. "What is he going to do next?: Dance."

Jones, who set a franchise record with three return touchdowns in the regular season and celebrated each one with an elaborate dance, has made no secret of his interest in being on the show.

After the Super Bowl, Jones made an appearance on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' and when asked by Kimmel if he'd consider being on the show, Jones said: "Let me ask you this: Do polar bears poo on ice?"

When pressed if he'd be on the show, Jones said, "Oh yes sir. ... I'll get it done, baby."

The show traditionally casts an NFL player. Former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and Green Packers wide receiver Donald Driver all won their respective seasons while Warren Sapp and Jerry Rice were finalists.
