After a concerted effort to keep fans and reporters updated on training camp injuries, Ravens coach John Harbaugh, in a light moment, said that time might be coming to a close.
"I've found that it's impossible to give you any idea when guys are going to be back, OK?" Harbaugh said with a laugh. "I've been wrong on every single guy so far, and I just want you to know — for the fans out there — I repeat what I'm told by the medical people. I'm not doing any diagnoses here. I'm not doing any examinations. … I tell you what they tell me."
Harbaugh later joked that he feels like he's "getting set up."
"I'm going to get out of that business," Harbaugh said. "I'm better off getting out of that business. I'll say something, and then the opposite thing will happen, and [people] will all think I'm being less than truthful."
Carr and his family were at camp Monday, visiting with team officials and catching up with friends. Carr was a Ravens cornerback and return specialist from 2009-2011. … Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham tore his ACL Sunday night in the Hall of Fame game against the Minnesota Vikings and is likely out for the season. The Steelers have no other kickers on their roster. Former Ravens Billy Cundiff and Shayne Graham are among those expected to try out.
