It’s time again to dispense with all the sophisticated analytical tools that millennial baseball fans love so much and evaluate each of the 2017 Orioles with a pure, simple, unadulterated, unscientific, paleolithic, totally subjective letter grade. So, here is this year’s end-of-season report card.
Keep in mind that the grades and brief analysis here are meant to evaluate each player in the context of his individual role on the team and are not intended to compare any player on the team with any other player either on the O’s roster or elsewhere.
To be included here, position players must have had at least 20 plate appearances and pitchers must have thrown at least 15 innings. Talk amongst yourselves.
