Second game in Orioles doubleheader delayed due to rain

The Orioles will get a bit more than the allotted 30 minutes to bask in their evening win over the Pirates, as the team announced the start of the night's second game is delayed due to storms in the area.

The first game, a 5-1 Orioles win, was delayed for 21 minutes in the top of the fifth inning due to rain. Though the rain has stopped, the team said showers in the vicinity of Camden Yards would delay the scheduled 8:10 first pitch in the second half of the twin-bill.

The grounds crew removed the tarp at 8:29 p.m., with an approximate start time of 8:55 p.m. of the next game.
