Former Orioles great Cal Ripken Jr. was magical on the field and is now spending this weekend at “The most magical place on Earth.”
Ripken will be the celebrity narrator of the biblical Christmas story tonight for the final candlelight processional at Disney World, according to Disney’s website.
Accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir, he is scheduled to appear at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. at the American Gardens Theatre at Epcot Center as part of the International Festival of the Holidays. He also was the celebrity narrator on Friday and Saturday.
Other narrators of the event over the past month have included “Wheel of Fortune” host and Anne Arundel County resident Pat Sajak; actress Auli’i Cravalho (the voice of “Moana”); comic Whoopi Goldberg; and actors John Stamos, Blair Underwood and Gary Sinise.
