Tanner Scott recalled, Yacabonis sent down

One day after right-handed reliever Jimmy Yacabonis gave up three runs on two hits and two walks in one inning of work against the Yankees, he was sent down to Triple-A Norfolk to make room for left-handed reliever Tanner Scott.

What to watch

1. Seeking a series win. The Orioles have a chance to leave New York with a four-game series win. That would be a boon for a team that entered with five straight losses having gone 2-8 at Yankee Stadium in 2017.

2. Last chance? Mike Wright Jr.'s start Sunday might be his last in the rotation with Alex Cobb set to join the major league club this week. Wright was solid in his first outing while Chris Tillman has had two poor games. Is there a chance Wright could pitch his way into keeping his starting job?

3. RISP problems. The Orioles have two hits in their past 19 chances with runners in scoring position after a 1-for-7 day Saturday. The Orioles will need a better showing with Jordan Montgomery on the mound. The left-hander was quite good against the Orioles last season, going 2-1 with a 2.67 ERA in five starts.
