Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Alex Cobb (1-5, 6.56 ERA) vs. White Sox RHP Dylan Covey (0-1, 6.00 ERA)

What to watch

1. Different look. One night after Mark Trumbo went 4-for-4 but committed a critical error, he’s out of the lineup with Joey Rickard in right and Danny Valencia at designated hitter. Trumbo has hit well so far this season, but so has Rickard in a smaller sample size. He’s hitting .333/.407/.625 while providing solid defense.

2. Quality Cobb. Alex Cobb will be looking to extend his streak of improved pitching to five straight starts Wednesday. Had he retired one more batter before being removed out of a rain delay May 12, he would have four straight quality starts on his record going into Wednesday. During that quality stretch, he’s 1-2 with a 3.38 ERA in 24 innings.

3. Home away from home. Adam Jones enters Wendesday with a 10-game hitting streak at Guaranteed Rate Field, dating to July 5, 2015. He’s hitting .395 with four doubles, one homer and five RBIs during that streak.
