Where: Fenway Park

What to watch

1. .500. The Orioles have won three straight for the first time since Aug. 5-7, and today have a chance to get back to .500 for the first time since they were 56-56 on Aug. 7. In winning the first two games of this series, the Orioles have again put themselves more seriously in the playoff conversation, as they're back to within two games of the second wild-card spot. Can they leave Boston within one game of a postseason berth?

2. Good Miley. With that in mind, the Orioles have to feel good about having Wade Miley on the mound this afternoon. He has been one of the Orioles' three best starters of late, holding opponents to three runs or fewer in five straight starts. Miley has a 2.93 ERA and a .210 opponents' batting average during that stretch.

3. Getting ridiculous. Perhaps the Orioles offense is due to cool down today after racking up 23 runs on 30 hits over the first two games in Boston. Jonathan Schoop has been among the biggest catalysts with six hits over the past two games. He's up to 28 homers and 95 RBIs this season.
