What to watch

1. That's a wrap. Wade Miley makes what could be his final start with the Orioles tonight. Miley's 1½ seasons with the Orioles have largely been a disappointment, as the club thought it was acquiring a veteran innings-eater at the 2016 trade deadline. Instead, Miley enters tonight 10-19 with a 5.69 ERA in 42 starts with the Orioles.

2. Schoop seeks strong finish. This season will be remembered as a breakout, MVP-type season for Jonathan Schoop. But since his average reached a season-high .309 on Sept. 3, the 25-year-old second baseman has slumped at the plate. He's batting .212/.247/.306 with two doubles, two homers and four RBIs in his past 22 games. It has been perhaps his worst slump of a spectacular campaign in which he has a .295 average, an .850 OPS, 32 homers and 105 RBIs.

3. Staying out of the basement. The Orioles enter the final weekend of the season tied with the Blue Jays for last place in the American League East. The Blue Jays face the Yankees, so the Orioles have to outdo Toronto this weekend to stay out of the basement.
