Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Jeremy Hellickson (8-8, 5.26 ERA) vs. Indians RHP Trevor Bauer (15-8, 4.39)

What to watch

1. Best of the best. The Indians have shown off the best pitching staff in the American League over the past two days, and now send one of their hottest starters to the mound as they look to extend their streak to 18 wins in a row. Trevor Bauer hasn't lost since July 16, and is 8-0 with a 2.47 ERA in 10 games (nine starts) since. The Orioles will have their hands full as they try to avoid the sweep.

2. Where's the O. The Orioles have scored just three runs on 16 hits over their past three games, and have just nine hits in their two games against the Indians. Do Bauer, 18 straight wins and some cold but talented Orioles bats line up for a course correction tonight?

3. In the spotlight. For the second straight day, the Orioles take the national stage — albeit mostly because of the Indians' tear. The Orioles will be looking to avoid dropping under .500 and have been fortunate during this skid not to fall more than three games out of the second wild-card spot. See if they can snap out of this funk before it gets any deeper while getting a national perspective on the club on "Sunday Night Baseball."
