Orioles on deck: What to watch Saturday vs. Blue Jays

Orioles (69-66) vs. Blue Jays (62-73)

Where: Camden Yards

First pitch: 7:05 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles LHP Wade Miley (8-10, 4.99 ERA) vs. Blue Jays RHP Marcus Stroman (11-6, 3.11)

What to watch

1. Weary or energized. After a 13-inning 1-0 win over the Blue Jays on Friday, the Orioles are back within 1½ games of the second wild-card spot. Will a game like that get them going again after their seven-game winning streak ended a night earlier?

2. Tough matchup. Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman takes on the Orioles for the first time since taming them for one of his best starts of the year. In his only meeting with the Orioles this season, he held them scoreless over 7 2/3 innings in June. Now that the Orioles offense has come around, see if they can exact revenge against the young righty.

3. Quiet production. Maybe the production from Jonathan Schoop has just come to be expected this season, but the All-Star second baseman is again racking up RBIs at an impressive clip. With his winning RBI double Friday, he has driven in 15 runs over his past 12 games and is up to 101 RBIs this season.
