For a rebuilding club like the Orioles, it’s only natural to see some fresh faces in the lineup. This season has been no exception.

Fourteen Orioles have made their major league debut in 2018, tied for second most in the majors with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Los Angeles Angels and San Diego Padres have each given 15 players their first big league experience.

The 14 debuts tie an Orioles club record set in 1955. When DJ Stewart started in left field in Wednesday night’s 10-0 loss to the Oakland Athletics, he became the 55th player to appear in a game for the O's this year.
